Linking Instructions

Linking to CareerOwl is easy. What you need to do first is decide whether you would like to use a text link, or an image link.

Examples:

A text link looks like this

For a text link:

• At the place on your page where you would like the link, insert the following HTML code:

• You may replace the words "Click here to visit www.CareerOwl.com" with any other appropriate text.

For an image link:

• At the place on your page where you would like the link, insert the following HTML code:

• "INSERT_GRAPHIC_NAME_HERE.gif" should be the file name of the graphic you want to use. Choose an image from the graphics below, and use the filename listed below the image.

www.CareerOwl.ca is a nonprofit employment information and e-recruiting site founded by Canadian university professors to help job seekers and employers connect. The service is open to all, but has features to facilitate recruiting for the highly qualified. CareerOwl enables job seekers to circulate their qualifications widely and without cost. Employers can advertise their job openings for fee. Job postings can be entered on self-service basis immediately, any day, any time. Also, job seekers can post resumes and employers can check these resumes without cost to either side.
